Its light brown forelock is made of real deer hide, and its dark mottled brown coloring helps it conceal itself in the shadows. Its “eyelashes” and ear hair are painted to match the forelock, and its deerlike nose is painted iridescent near-black. The mask ties on with chocolate-colored organdy ribbons.
